Painted Blakes 7 Miniatures

Here is a commission I’ve just completed of painted 28mm Blakes 7 miniatures from the BBC Blakes 7 TV Show from the 70’s and 80’s. That show was (and still is really) one of my favorites.

As I’m a fan of the show and have all of the episodes available. Rather than using the examples on the 7-TV website (which are mostly painted in an olive green mix) I went back and matched up the outfits to the shows they were in to get the colors right. The biggest difference was Villa who is wearing a patchwork outfit in the actually show, that I tried to replicate on the miniature.

These are from the Beast in the Broch range and usually used in the 7-TV skirmish wargame which has rules specifically for them (under the title Future Freedom Fighters). These are a long way from Star Wars and Warhammer 40k, which are the other Sci-Fi miniatures I’ve been painted recently.
